I'm Tired

Two words. I'M TIRED!!!!!! No. Not just tired, pooped, exhausted. I'm going to take the world's longest nap. OPH!!!!!

On Friday Mom takes Bella and I to Victoria Gardens again and we walked and walked and walked. We then ended up at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Binx just wanted to play.

Saturday morning Mom and Dad wake up bright and early and say we're going hiking.

We drove and drove this long and winding road. I had to balance myself so many times. But we finally ended up at the:

Lake Gregory Dog Park

We were joined by my old friend Duke and his sister Jasmine. We were also joined by a Harlequin named Arrow and black named Spice.

After some fun at the park we went for a hike. It wasn't as long as the hike to Heart Rock but it was still a lot of fun. Plus there was a large pool.

After the hike we Duke's daddy joined us to go get some food. We went back to Lake Arrowhead. Arrow and Spice went home but guess who joined us:

Sabre

I got to enjoy my french fries again. Now I don't mean to sound arrogant but I'm usually the center of attention and it wasn't just Duke but also Sabre that got all the attention.

Everyone's petting Sabre

Well I need to catch up on a lot of sleep. For all of you who took pictures of me. Please post them on my Facebook Page.

Dog Friendly Meatloaf

This is a REALLY good meatloaf Mommy made for me.

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef or turkey
    1 cup cooked brown rice
    1 medium sized apple
    2 stalks celery
    1 large carrot
    2 eggs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Core apple. Grate or chop apple and vegetables. If you choose to chop Mommy puts them in a food processor until they are a fine grind.
  3. In a large bowl combine meat, eggs, rice, and the vegetable medley. Mommy usually uses her hands for the mixing. Her hands taste so good after that until she washes them
  4. Pack the mixture in a loaf pan. Mommy likes to use something called the Perfect Meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 2 hours or until center is 150 degrees
  6. Let it cool for 15 to 30 minutes before serving
  7. Slice it and serve it to your dog. Mommy and Daddy mix it into my kibble in replace of wet. YUM!!!!

Yum, Yum, Yum!!! I love meatloaf

World Record Just Got Harder

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I'm going for the world record of World's Tallest Female dog. Well that record just got harder.

There is another Great Dane, Cooper, who is 36.5 inches. She's currently waiting for Guinness to officiate the record.

Here's the article

So now instead of needing to grow another half an inch I need to grow another inch and a half. Well I'm only 14 months. I still have another 4 to 10 months of growing left.

I still might become the tallest female dog in America.

Mom and Dad said they're going to measure me in a few weeks. We'll see how tall I am.

The Dog Wash

Yesterday Dad wakes up really early and puts me in the car. I was waiting for Mom and Bella to join us but Dad drove off without them.

We drove for a while then we stopped at a place called the Pet Wash Center. When I got into this place I could hear Binx in the back. Yay I get to go play with Binx. Daddy takes me into the back and I see BINX ALL WET. IT'S BATH TIME!!! NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Dad made me walk the plank and put new collar on my neck. Then came the water.

Dad washing me

I'm all wet

Dad let me walk the stairs back down.

I thought that was the end of it. But it wasn't. REALLY BIG BLOW DRYER!!!!!!! SAVE ME!!!!!!

Dad and Grandma drying me

This month's torture is now over with.

Hike To Heart Rock

This morning Mom and dad woke up bright and early and got Bella and I ready. We all get into the car. After driving a long and winding road we stop. Dad said we were going to hike to Heart Rock. When I got out of the car there were a lot of Danes.

There was my old friend Duke

The Harlequin is Chance. The Blue is Zora. Zora's Sister Roma (a Boston Terrier) is hiding behind Chance.

I also made some new friends.

That is Breena

This is Journey. He is a wolf hybrid

Not everyone joining us on the hike was a dog there was also Saber. He's a miniature horse. Before I continue this. The main joke I hear is that I'm a horse.

There's me. There's Saber. Do we look anything alike? Enough said.

So we started to walk. Sometimes Mom and Dad let us run loose. That was a lot of fun.

Everybody hiking

Pretty Scenery

After a long walk we finally arrive at Heart Rock. The thing that was so fun about Heart Rock was that there were two swimming pools. This is the life.

I slipped on the rock then Bella pushed me in

While we were at Heart Rock we got a major shock. Bella jumped into one of the ponds and started swimming. Bella my scaredy little sister who won't even let Mom and Dad give her a bath went for a swim.

If you look closely you'll see a little head sticking out of the water near the rock.

Since this was so sudden this is the only photo so far we have of Bella swimming. Everyone else is going to check their cameras and hopefully there's more.

After we finished hiking Duke's owner Bill along with Mom and Dad took us to Lake Arrowhead. We walked around looking for a place to eat but our parents settled on McDonalds. I'm a little jealous of Duke. He's bigger so he got all the attention and everyone wanted to take a picture with him and not me. But while everyone was taking pictures of Duke these kids a few tables back kept feeding me their french fries. Duke might have gotten all the attention but I got the free food.

Mom and Dad said we're going on another hike in a few weeks. I can't wait.
